Marli Nicholls
Marli Nicholls has been fascinated by hair since childhood, but her path to becoming Perth's curly hair specialist wasn't a straight line.
​
After completing a degree in Accounting, Marli made the decision to follow her true calling and pursue professional hairdressing training. What set her apart from the start was her commitment to specialist education. Marli trained at leading curl academies internationally, including in Brazil and Africa, two of the most influential regions in the world for curly hair expertise.
​
But beyond the technical training, Marli brings something that can't be taught in any academy: lived experience.
​
As a curly-haired woman herself, Marli went through the full journey, the years of not understanding her own hair, the bad cuts, the wrong products, and the slow process of transitioning back to her natural texture. That journey gave her a level of empathy and understanding that her clients feel from the moment they walk through the door.

Today, Marli specialises in dry cuts, rëzo cuts, curly treatments and colour techniques that require specific knowledge of how curly hair behaves, grows and responds.
She works with each client individually, focused on the long-term health and integrity of their curls, not just the result on the day.
